These two articles is incredibly similar to my idea, because it includes a male taxi driver with a female passenger. However, this women didn't have enough money to pay the driver so told the man to have sex with her or she would scream. This is similar and different because the male driver in our film is the criminal whereas the male in this article is the victim. This can help my idea progress, as I can add the idea of the women unable to pay for the journey and the man retaliates. This will help my narrative move forward and demonstrates my story is believable. This article that i have chosen relates to my film idea that my group has decided to choose which involves a young girl, which is the same as what we are going to use. Another similarity between this news article is that it is a male driver who is attempting to kidnap the girl which will make are film even more realistic to add another level of horror to the audience. The fact that the women escaped from the car has got me thinking of maybe the victim trying to escape the car but failing to do so. Also it states in the article that the women was under the influence of alcohol which is an idea that we could use in are film.
When I got a third news article which is very much related to the news article above I noticed that there is a similar trend in cab kidnapping which involves rape from older men onto younger woman coming home from a night out with friends. As rape is common in cab kidnapping judging from my research from these 2 articles I will try and add some sense that the driver of the cab has the intentions of raping the young innocent girl in the passengers seat. Both stories involve the driver going the complete wrong way to the girls horror and then she realises she's in lots of trouble.
